Mr. Capalot, also known as Polo Capalot as he is sometimes called within Chicago Illinois started to gain popularity after releasing songs on YouTube. His first singles were the Come Up and never Cared. He made his SoundCloud debut with the official polo.g SOUND CLOUD. Gang With Me was Gang With Me's debut single. Soon after, it was followed up by another song called Finer Things. In jail, he composed the second track. It was his first single and he received thousands of YouTube views. Then, major labels began to show interest. Pop Out featuring Lil Tjay finally saw the light of day after the rapper signed an agreement to distribute the song with Columbia Records. It was viewed millions of views on YouTube as well as reaching at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. This is the first time that Polo G charted a track. Polo G was a YouTube phenomenon and attained a fair amount of fame via other social media websites such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
